During the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the Dawson District Renewable Resources Council (DDRRC) held regular public meetings. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings were almost exclusively conducted virtually.
The transition to meeting via videoconferencing is challenging us to learn new technologies and think outside the box. But we are pleased to report that we are getting the hang of this new way of doing business. And many of our meetings were quite successful, despite being held online.
We have and will continue to hold public meetings at various locations in Dawson. We are reserving this for occasions that necessitate the use of larger spaces to maintain a “Safe 6” and adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.
We’re hoping to be meeting in person regularly again soon!
