The Board is pleased to announce that it remains fully operational throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Although, like many organizations, the way we conduct business is evolving.
Unfortunately, we could not hold the RRC Chairs meeting this spring as we had hoped. Collectively we decided that holding it virtually (online) was not an option. As a result, we are postponing that meeting until the spring of 2022.
We have been utilizing Zoom for Board meetings for the past year. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but we are getting there. Several good things have come from the shift to a virtual meeting format.
We’ve improved our internet speed at the office and installed a new video conferencing system to replace our noisy old projector. We are meeting more frequently while also saving money on meeting costs.
The Board has initiated monthly ‘interim’ update meetings to allow Board members to keep in touch and be informed about Board business.
